A bittersweet Diwali. Missing all my family in India, but finding a new kind of family here. A year gone by with its trials and storms, but we endured and the Sun did shine. Heartfelt sadness at my dear friends' losses, yet heartfelt joy at my dear friends' giving birth to new life. And I know I'm not alone in experiencing all this. The Human Spirit lives on, for in truth there is no life nor death. Here's to that Inner Light - the Pure, Eternal Joy that makes us all One. Happy Diwali and Saal Mubarak.
